Position Vacant: Qualified or Trainee NDT Inspector

Permanent Trainee or qualified NDT Inspector required for leading provider of NDT Inspection Services in Queensland. Location – Roma, QLD.

Our client, a leading provider of NDT Inspection Services in Queensland is experiencing exciting growth and is now seeking trainee or qualified NDT Inspectors for their Roma Operations Base. The company’s expertise is in perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and inspection of Oilfield Tubulars, Tubular Handling Equipment, and Rig Inspection Services to clients throughout Australia. Using the latest techniques and technologies, they have the resources to provide fast, accurate, and highly detailed inspection reports anywhere in the world.

The role involves:

  • Carry out non destructive testing (NDT) on process/finished components.
  • Processing all NDT Reports and issue to QC/Welding Inspectors detailing NDT findings.
  • Carry out radiographic activities in full compliance with operating procedures.
  • Ensuring details of all Inspection projects are fully documented on relevant reports.
  • Inspection to client specified acceptance criteria.

To be successful you will have:

  • qualified to PCN or ASNT Level II, experienced in all aspects of NDT such as MPI, UT, etc
  • Strong work ethic and pride of workmanship
  • Attention to detail and focus on quality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in remote environments
